About Dan

Relationship Coach Dan Ohler

If you’re like most people, life has dished you it’s fair share of cra… (challenges).  Consciously or unconsciously you’ve developed coping mechanisms and habits to get through it.

I know how it goes – I’ve been there.  I’m not satisfied with “just getting through it.”

Are you satisfied with that?

It’s been an interesting, school-of-hard-knocks journey for me.  From a high-stress farmer (family farm), to high-stress Loans Officer (agricultural lending), to high-stress Land Agent (oilfield), to high-stress professional speaking (cross-Canada conference keynotes), and much of that in a high-stress marriage.

What’s common?

Looking deeper than high-stress, the challenge was my ability (or inability) to develop effective relationships – with myself and others.  So I worked at it.  I became vulnerable and honest with myself and others, and became very curious.

Every experience, has led me precisely to this joyful, passionate, rewarding, and fulfilling place I’m at now, where my relationships are solid, trusting, and genuine.  The quality of my relationships continue to grow.

I occasionally allow myself to slip into a stressful spot, but through self-coaching, and hiring my own coaches, I re-align, prioritize, build trust, and expand my potential in an accountable way.

You can have this too – and even more, if you’re willing to do the work (let’s call it play)!!

I used to believe I needed to buckle-down, cowboy-up, do-it-myself, suck-it-up, and be-strong-always. I’ve learned that I can’t be my best unless I reach out and ask for help.

What about you?

Are you willing to step outside of your comfort zone, be vulnerable, and become the best version of yourself?

If you’re looking for a life and relationship coach with grassroots rural values, authenticity, honesty, and expertise in the technology of love – let’s talk.

As your coach or ‘communication excellence’ facilitator, I’m the same guy wherever we meet: the phone, your office, my home near Edmonton, AB, the grocery store, or high on a mountain ridge.

Regardless of where we meet, everything is confidential.  Even my dog, Jack, won’t know what you’ve shared.

It all starts with a conversation.  I invite you to call me at 780-785-9479.
